Flores Rent-a-Car - Terms and Conditions of Rental (T&C)

1. Cancellation and Booking Changes Policy – Rent-a-Car Flores

This Policy sets out the terms applicable to the cancellation, modification, and management of vehicle reservations made through Rent-a-Car Flores, whether by digital means, in person, or through direct contact.

2. Booking Conditions

2.1. At the time of online booking, full payment (100%) of the total rental amount is required if the reservation is made within 30 days prior to the vehicle pick-up date.

2.2. For bookings made more than 30 days in advance of the vehicle pick-up date, 50% of the total rental amount is required at the time of booking. The remaining 50% must be paid up to 30 days before the scheduled pick-up date.

2.3. The reservation is considered confirmed after payment validation and upon receipt of the respective transfer confirmation via email.

3. Cancellation Policy

3.1. All bookings made with advance payment are non-refundable.

3.2. In case of cancellation by the customer or flight cancellations, no full or partial refunds will be issued.

3.3. If the customer does not show up at the agreed time and date without prior notice, it will be considered a no-show and will not entitle the customer to any refund or future credit. 

4. Booking Modification Policy

4.1. Any request to change the booking (dates, times, vehicle category, or other details) must be submitted directly to Rent-a-Car Flores by phone or email.

4.2. Changes are subject to vehicle availability for the new requested period.

4.3. The company reserves the right to refuse changes when there is no availability or if the new conditions create operational conflicts.

5. Cancellation by Rent-a-Car Flores

5.1. The company may cancel the reservation in the following cases:

a) Failure to present required documents (valid driver’s license with more than one year, ID, credit card);

b) Failure to meet the minimum requirements for entering into the rental agreement;

c) Operational, technical, or safety reasons that prevent the provision of the vehicle.


5.2. In such cases, Rent-a-Car Flores may:

a) Provide another vehicle of equal or higher category, when possible;

b) Issue a full refund if no suitable vehicle can be provided.

6. Refunds

6.1. When a refund is applicable, it will be processed using the same payment method used for the reservation.

6.2. The processing time may vary between 5 to 7 business days, depending on the customer’s bank.

7. Early Return of the Vehicle

7.1. Returning the vehicle before the end of the contracted rental period does not entitle the customer to a refund for unused days.

7.2. Exceptions may apply only if included in promotional campaigns or previously agreed in writing.

7.3. A fee of €50.00 will be charged if the vehicle is returned without a full fuel tank.

9. Acceptance

By making a reservation, the customer declares that they have read, understood, and fully accepted the terms of this Policy.
