Flores Rent-a-Car - Terms and Conditions of Rental (T&C)

Flores Rent-a-Car is a car rental company based on the Island of Flores, Azores owned by Fernando Diamantino Pinto Carneiro, R Santa Catarina 4 A, Santa Cruz das Flores 9970-336, Portugal, email: info@rentacarflores.pt, phone: +351918531322. 

According to these Terms and Conditions of Rental, Flores Rent-a-Car commits to:

  1. Vehicle Rental:
    Renting a vehicle (passenger or commercial) to the person specified in the rental agreement, for the period outlined in the document, not exceeding 30 days. Any additional accessories must be indicated and detailed in the agreement.

  2. Available Services:
    Providing mobility services integrated into all rentals and offering additional services at extra costs.

  3. Contractual Regulation:
    The contractual relationship between the customer (Renter) and Flores Rent-a-Car is governed by the following documents:

    • The Rental Agreement, signed at the time of vehicle pick-up or at the start of the rental period.
    • The confirmation email for the reservation (if made online in advance).
    • The Flores Rent-a-Car Insurance and Protection Products Guide.
    • The Applicable Pricing Tariff.
    • These Terms and Conditions of Rental.

    In case of any conflict between the documents above, the terms in the rental agreement shall prevail.

Payment Methods

Flores Rent-a-Car accepts the following payment methods:

  • Credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express)
  • Debit cards
  • Bank transfers
  • Cash payments

Please note that payments via vouchers or checks are not accepted.

Required Documents

To make a reservation, you must send the following documents by email:

  • Identification document (Citizen Card or ID card)
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Passport (required for customers from outside the European Union)

Deposit

A deposit of €1,200 will be required at the time of vehicle pick-up. This deposit serves as a guarantee for potential damages or non-compliance with rental conditions and will be refunded after the vehicle is returned in the agreed condition.
